Full-time or Part-time Certified Nursing Assistant Needed at Gentle Care Assisted Living in Concord, NC

Paid in-house training is provided to all employees. CNAs will need to obtain certification as a Direct Support Professional through in-house paid training.

Weekly schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Rotating weekends

Shift availability:

• Day Shift (Preferred)
• Night Shift (Preferred)
• Overnight Shift (Preferred)

Responsibilities include:

• Developing positive relationships with individuals who have intellectual disabilities.
• Helping with daily tasks, such as personal care, socializing, transportation, and meals.
• Engage with individuals during leisure activities and hobbies in their homes.
• Participating in a variety of activities that teach, coach, or strengthen skills for a more independent lifestyle.
• Provide support that will enhance individuals' quality of life.

Minimum Requirements:

• You must be at least 18 years old.
• Must already have your high school diploma or GED.
• Certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) from an accredited program.
• Must pass the Test of Adult Basic Education (TABE) literacy test
• Must pass a criminal background check without any disqualifying violations.
• Must pass a physical, drug test, and TB test.

Salary:

$40,000 - $60,000 per year
