Full-time or Part-time Certified Nursing Assistants Needed at Gentle Care Assisted Living in Reno, NV

We are currently seeking Certified Nursing Assistants for either a full-time or part-time position. We understand the critical role that Certified Nursing Assistants play in providing direct and essential care to our residents. We offer a dynamic and supportive environment where you can utilize your expertise and technical skills to meet resident needs effectively.

Shifts available:

  • Day shift 7 am-3 pm
  • Overnight shift 11 pm-7 am
  • Rotating weekend

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Answers signal lights and bells to determine resident needs.
  • Assists residents with grooming, oral hygiene, bathing, hair, and incontinence care.
  • Obtains food trays and assists residents with feeding.
  • Assists residents with range of motion exercises.
  • Provides personal care and comfort.
  • Assists with movement to wheelchair or activity areas.
  • Takes and records temperature, food, and fluid intake and output.
  • Provides direct and indirect resident care services.
  • Meets the communication needs of residents and family.
  • Communicates changes in residents’ clinical condition.

Requirements:

  • Currently holds an active CNA certificate.
  • Friendly and professional bedside manner
  • BLS Certification (Required)
  • Effective oral, written, and reading communication skills.
  • Understands the legal implications of patient care.
  • CNA (Required)
  • CPR Certification (Required)

Salary:

$40,000 - $60,000 per year
