Full-time or Part-time Certified Nursing Assistants Needed at Serene Skies Assisted Living in Goodyear, AZ

Serene Skies Assisted Living provides behavioral health and chemical dependency services. As treatment options and patient care innovations have continued to become available, we strive to provide the highest level of quality care to our patients. Our caring staff focuses on providing compassionate care to meet the needs of individuals, families, and communities.

We offer a full continuum of care that provides treatment options to meet the individual needs of adults, adolescents, and children. We include a 148-bed inpatient acute and residential care facility, as well as partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care to individuals under the supervision of the charge nurse.
• Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for patients, promoting their well-being and comfort.
• Perform crisis intervention when necessary to address urgent medical or emotional needs of patients.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including but not limited to bathing, dressing, eating, and mobility.
• Monitor and record vital signs, patient behavior, and other relevant information as directed by the charge nurse.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to implement and follow patient care plans effectively.
• Maintain a clean and organized patient care area, adhering to infection control and safety protocols.
• Assist with patient transportation and transfers as required.
• Provide emotional support to patients and their families, demonstrating compassion and empathy.
• Adhere to all healthcare regulations, policies, and procedures while delivering patient care.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance nursing skills and knowledge.
• Communicate effectively with the charge nurse and other healthcare team members to ensure seamless care delivery.

Qualifications:

• Must completed approved CNA Training Program
• One-year prior psychiatric experience preferred.
• Must be certified by the State or multi-state certified.
• CPR Certification
• Knowledge of human behavior or principles of psychology preferred, including therapeutic relationships and processes.
• Familiarity with age-specific growth and development.
• Proficiency in limit setting and crisis and behavior management.

Job Type: Full-time, Part-time

Salary:

$40,000 - $65,000 per year
