Full-time Certified Occupational Therapist Assistants Needed at Infinite Medical Center in El Paso, TX

Seeking highly educated and dedicated Certified Occupational Therapist Assistants to join our Infinite Medical Center. You will have the chance to work closely with an interdisciplinary team, under the guidance of a Registered Occupational Therapist, and with the support of our approachable and present Rehab Director.

We specialize in providing comprehensive and compassionate occupational therapy services to patients in the comfort of their own homes. Our dedicated team of professionals focuses on enhancing the quality of life and promoting independence for our patients.

Schedule:

This is a full-time position that requires 40 hours per week during normal business hours.

Responsibilities:

  • Administers patient centered Occupational Therapy treatment incorporating evidence based practice and skilled techniques to achieve optimal functional outcomes, under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
  • Communicates changes in patient status to primary therapist in a timely manner.
  • Acts as a clinical instructor or participates in the education and evaluation of students. Acts as a resource for volunteers and observers.
  • Participates in staff development and education programs within the department. Participates in interdepartmental education of other professional staff.
  • Directs and supervises the activities of support personnel while retaining responsibility for patient care.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Active certification and licensure as a COTA in the applicable state.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals and patients.
  • A caring and empathetic approach to patient care with a focus on promoting independence and quality of life.
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to maintain accurate documentation, and follow ethical and legal guidelines.
  • Familiarity with therapeutic equipment and techniques, including assistive technology, adaptive equipment, and therapeutic exercises.

Salary:

We offer a competitive salary of $50k-60k/year depending on experience
