Hiring! Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in Monett, Missouri

Our team is looking for a Certified occupational therapy assistant (COTA) to join our wellness and rehabilitation center. In this role, you will provide customized therapeutic massage treatments aimed at promoting healing, reducing pain, and enhancing overall wellness.

You will collaborate with healthcare professionals, including physical therapists and chiropractors, to support patients’ rehabilitation journeys and contribute to their long-term health and wellness.

Job Type: Full Time

Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM

Compensation: $90,000 – $100,000 per year + benefits

Patient Volume: 2 patients per hour schedule

About the position:

  • Deliver therapeutic massage sessions tailored to client's needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage.
  • Assess clients’ conditions and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Perform targeted massage therapy for injury recovery, chronic pain relief, and muscle tension reduction.
  • Collaborate with clinical professionals to ensure integrated, patient-centered care.
  • Educate clients on stretching techniques, posture correction, and self-care practices.
  • Maintain detailed treatment records and ensure compliance with clinic protocols.
  • Foster a calm, relaxing, and professional environment for all clients.

Qualifications:

  • Active Missouri State Massage Therapy license (required).
  • Certification in multiple massage modalities, such as myofascial release, trigger point therapy, or neuromuscular therapy (preferred).
  • 1-2 years of experience in a clinical, spa, or rehabilitation setting preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and therapeutic techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare providers in a team-based environment.
  • Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and documentation is a plus
