Position: Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

Location: Avon, Colorado

Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM

Compensation: $60,000 to $80,000 + benefits

Position Overview:

Are you a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) seeking a fulfilling opportunity to make a difference? Our outpatient clinic in Colorado is looking for a skilled COTA to collaborate with our rehabilitation team. Join us in helping patients regain independence and improve their quality of life through personalized therapy interventions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist Occupational Therapists (OTs) in implementing customized treatment plans aimed at restoring patients’ daily living skills and functional abilities.

  • Deliver hands-on therapy, including therapeutic activities, adaptive techniques, and assistive device training.

  • Monitor and document patient progress, providing detailed reports to the supervising OT.

  • Educate patients and families on therapeutic strategies to support ongoing recovery and promote independence.

  • Ensure compliance with clinic policies, safety standards, and state and federal regulations.

Requirements:

  • Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.

  • Current Colorado COTA license in good standing.

  • Previous experience in outpatient, orthopedic, or rehabilitation settings preferred.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
