Now Hiring: Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) – Orthopedic Rehab

Location: Boulder City, Nevada

Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM

Compensation: $60,000 to $65,000 + benefits

Position Overview:

Are you a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) ready to make a meaningful impact in orthopedic rehab? Do you thrive in a collaborative setting and enjoy helping patients return to daily life stronger and more independent? If so, we want YOU on our team.

You’ll be a key part of the therapy team, helping patients achieve greater independence in their daily activities following orthopedic surgeries or injuries. From joint replacements to fractures to upper extremity rehab, your care will make a real difference.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement therapeutic treatment plans designed by a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT), focused on improving function, mobility, strength, and independence.
  • Assist patients in performing activities of daily living (ADLs) such as dressing, grooming, bathing, and functional mobility tasks.
  • Administer and monitor therapeutic exercises, manual techniques, adaptive equipment training, and other OT interventions.
  • Track and document patient progress, observations, and feedback in accordance with facility standards and state regulations.
  • Provide patient education and support to help reinforce therapy goals.
  • Collaborate with the OT and broader healthcare team to adjust care plans and deliver the best outcomes.
  • Contribute to a safe, motivating, and positive therapy environment for all patients.

Requirements:

  • Associate’s degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
  • NBCOT Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant.
  • Current COTA license in the state of Nevada (or eligibility to obtain one prior to employment).
  • Experience in orthopedic, outpatient, or rehab settings preferred (new grads welcome with strong fieldwork in orthopedics).
  • Passionate about patient care and improving quality of life.
  • Strong understanding of orthopedic injuries and recovery processes.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build trust with patients.
