Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) – Orthopedic
Location: Deerfield Beach, Florida
Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
Schedule: Monday to Friday (9 AM – 5 PM)
Compensation: $90,000 to $100,000 + benefits

As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, you’ll work closely under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to help patients achieve their recovery goals—primarily focusing on orthopedic conditions affecting the arms, hands, shoulders, and upper extremities.
Who are we looking for?
- Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) with current Florida licensure (or eligible)
- Graduate of an accredited OTA program
- Passionate about orthopedic rehabilitation and helping others
- Skilled in therapeutic interventions for upper extremity function and daily living tasks
- Organized, reliable, and team-oriented
- Bonus: Experience with hand therapy, custom splinting, or working in outpatient ortho settings

What will you do?
- Carry out personalized treatment plans for patients recovering from surgery, injury, or chronic orthopedic conditions
- Assist with therapeutic exercises, ADL training, and adaptive techniques
- Observe, report, and document patient progress accurately and timely
- Educate patients on proper techniques and home programs
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with the OT and care team
- Foster a positive and motivating clinical environment
