Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) – Orthopedic

Location: Deerfield Beach, Florida

Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
Schedule: Monday to Friday (9 AM – 5 PM)
Compensation: $90,000 to $100,000 + benefits

As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, you’ll work closely under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to help patients achieve their recovery goals—primarily focusing on orthopedic conditions affecting the arms, hands, shoulders, and upper extremities.

Who are we looking for?

• Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) with current Florida licensure (or eligible)
• Graduate of an accredited OTA program
• Passionate about orthopedic rehabilitation and helping others
• Skilled in therapeutic interventions for upper extremity function and daily living tasks
• Organized, reliable, and team-oriented
• Bonus: Experience with hand therapy, custom splinting, or working in outpatient ortho settings

What will you do?

• Carry out personalized treatment plans for patients recovering from surgery, injury, or chronic orthopedic conditions
• Assist with therapeutic exercises, ADL training, and adaptive techniques
• Observe, report, and document patient progress accurately and timely
• Educate patients on proper techniques and home programs
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with the OT and care team
• Foster a positive and motivating clinical environment
