Position Title: Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) – Assisted Living Facility

Salary Range: $60,000 – $65,000 per year

Location: Gresham, Oregon

Job Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement individualized therapy plans developed by the supervising Occupational Therapist, focusing on activities of daily living (ADLs), mobility, and cognitive function.
  • Provide hands-on therapy, including training residents on adaptive techniques and exercises.
  • Educate residents, families, and staff on strategies to improve independence and safety.
  • Work with residents on fine and gross motor skills, sensory processing, and adaptive equipment use.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to monitor progress and adjust therapy as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed COTA in Oregon (or eligible for licensure)
  • Passionate about helping older adults live their lives to the fullest
  • Experienced in providing therapy in an assisted living, SNF, or similar setting (preferred, but not required)
  • A compassionate, patient-focused individual with excellent communication skills
  • Motivated by results and building meaningful connections with residents
