Now Hiring: Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
Salary Range: $60,000 – $65,000 per year
Location: Estero, Florida
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM
Are you a passionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) looking to make an impact in a cutting-edge, patient-focused outpatient setting? Join our dynamic team at a leading Orthopedic and Sports Rehabilitation Clinic in Florida, where you’ll be integral in providing top-tier care to athletes, active adults, and individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in implementing individualized therapy programs developed by the OT
- Guide patients through activities of daily living (ADLs), fine motor skills exercises, and functional movement patterns
- Monitor patient progress and communicate with the clinical team to adjust therapy plans as needed
- Educate patients on adaptive techniques and tools to improve independence
- Document progress and treatment sessions in electronic medical records (EMR)
- Ensure a clean, organized, and safe therapy environment
Qualifications:
- Current Florida COTA Licensure
- Strong interest and experience in orthopedic rehabilitation and sports-related injuries
- Exceptional communication skills and a passion for patient care
- Ability to work well in a team environment while also taking initiative with your caseload
- Prior experience in outpatient rehab settings is a plus (but new grads are welcome!)
