Now Hiring: Occupational Therapist (OT) – New York

Salary Range: $60,000 – $70,000 per year

Location: Utica, New York

Job Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct patient evaluations to assess physical, cognitive, and psychosocial function

  • Develop and implement customized treatment plans to improve ADLs, fine motor skills, mobility, and overall function
  • Use therapeutic techniques, assistive devices, and adaptive strategies to restore independence
  • Educate patients and caregivers on safety, home modifications, and daily activity support
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including PTs, SLPs, nurses, and physicians
  • Document evaluations, progress notes, and treatment plans in compliance with regulatory guidelines
  • Support discharge planning and patient transition back into the home or community

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an ACOTE-accredited program
  • Active New York State OT License (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Experience in rehab, SNF, outpatient, or acute care preferred (new grads welcome!)
  • CPR certification required (or willing to obtain)
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Empathy, creativity, and a passion for improving lives
