Full-time Dental Biller Needed

Join our innovative dental clinic as a Dental Biller and take charge of our billing processes. Your responsibilities will include submitting claims to insurance companies, managing accounts receivable, and handling patient billing inquiries. Attention to detail is critical in ensuring accurate billing and timely payments. You will collaborate with other departments to streamline billing procedures and improve overall efficiency. We offer a supportive work environment that encourages ongoing training and development in the dental billing field.

Salary:
  • $60,000 to $80,000 a year with full benefits
Schedule:
  • Monday - Friday 9 AM - 4 PM
Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and verify patient information, medical records, and treatment documentation
  • Prepare and submit accurate claims to insurance companies by mail
  • Follow up on unpaid or denied claims and resubmit as necessary
  • Communicate with insurance companies to resolve claim discrepancies or issues
  • Collaborate with the billing team to ensure accurate and efficient billing processes
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Active state Certified Professional Biller (CPB) license.
  • Minimum 2 years of prior experience in dental billing.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate billing and claims submissions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with dental staff, patients, and insurance companies.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a university setting.
