Work Hours: Monday - Friday: 9 AM-5 PM

Compensation: $50,000.00 - $70,000 per year + benefits

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Dental Assistant to join our growing dental team and contribute to an excellent patient experience.

As a Dental Assistant you will play a key role in assisting our dentists with a variety of dental procedures while ensuring that patients receive top-quality care in a comfortable, welcoming environment. If you are passionate about oral health and patient care, we want you on our team!

Job Duties:

  • Prepare patients for treatments and assist dentists during exams and dental procedures such as fillings, crowns, and extractions.
  • Take dental radiographs (X-rays) and ensure their quality. Assist with the interpretation of radiographs when necessary.
  • Maintain, sterilize, and organize dental instruments and equipment to meet infection control standards.
  • Educate patients on dental hygiene, post-treatment care instructions, and the importance of regular dental visits.
  • Help manage patient records, schedule appointments, verify patient information, and ensure accurate billing and coding for insurance purposes.
  • Monitor and track dental supplies to ensure all necessary items are available and well-stocked for procedures.
  • Prepare dental materials, take impressions, and assist with laboratory work when necessary.
  • Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, following all infection control protocols and hospital guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required. Completion of an accredited Dental Assistant program is preferred.
  • Prior experience as a dental assistant is highly preferred, but we welcome new graduates who are eager to learn.
  • Dental Assisting National Board (DANB) certification is a plus. Certification in CPR and first aid is also preferred.
  • BLS/CPR certification (preferred)
  • Knowledge of dental instruments, procedures, and terminology.
  • Familiarity with dental software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft) a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
  • Friendly, empathetic, and patient-centered demeanor.
