Job Title: Full-Time Dental Assistant – Hospital-Affiliated Dental Clinic (Pennsylvania )

Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Job Type: Full Time

Work Hours: Monday - Friday: 9 AM-5 PM

Compensation: $50,000.00 - $70,000 per year + benefits

As a Dental Assistant, you’ll work side-by-side with dentists and hygienists to provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients of all ages.

Job Duties:

  • Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures, including fillings, crowns, extractions, and cleanings
  • Prepare patients for dental procedures, ensuring comfort and understanding of treatment
  • Sterilize and prepare instruments and exam rooms following proper infection control protocols
  • Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays)
  • Manage patient records and charting using dental software (experience with Dentrix or Eaglesoft a plus)
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene, pre- and post-op instructions, and preventative care
  • Ensure a clean, organized, and efficient work environment
  • Maintain dental inventory and stock operatory rooms with supplies

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Completion of a Dental Assistant program from an accredited institution preferred
  • Radiology Certification in the state of Pennsylvania required (or ability to obtain quickly)
  • Current CPR/BLS certification
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a desire to contribute to a team environment
  • EFDA certification is a plus, but not required
