Full-time/Part-time wanted Dental Assistant in Grand Prairie, TX

Designer Smiles Dental is excited to announce that we are looking for a full time or part time fulfilled Dental Assistant to join our team!

We prioritize patient safety and adhere to the latest infection control procedures to maintain a sterile and immaculate working environment.

You will take digital radiographs, supervise dental equipment's preventive maintenance, and follow practice protocols, including quality assurance and infection control. Your commitment to excellence and continuous learning will be supported through ongoing continuing education opportunities.

Job Duties May Include:

  • Greets patients in waiting area and escorts patients to the operatory
  • Assists the dentist in the administration of treatment at the chair side as required or directed by the dentist
  • Maintain a sterile and neat working environment according to current infection control procedures
  • Review the health history, make chart entries under the direction of the dentist and assure completion of forms and signatures
  • Assume the responsibility associated with any duties that may be delegated by the dentist
  • Familiarize the patient with the aspects of their dental visit and provide support and compassion to that patient when it is needed
  • Stock operatories and maintain clinical supply inventory
  • Review daily schedule to set up appropriate trays and instruments
  • Supervise preventive maintenance of dental equipment
  • Take digital radiographs
  • Follow practice protocols: quality assurance, biohazards, infection control, referral, emergency medicine, implants, period program, and emergency treatment

Candidate Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience preferred
  • knowledge of Dentrix and Microsoft
  • Multi-task is required

Schedule:

  • Monday - Friday: 8am - 5pm

Salary:

$40,000 to $60,000 per year + bonus
