Full-time Licensed Massage Therapist (Bellingham, Washington)

We have an opening for a skilled Licensed Massage Therapist who wants to practice in a clinical setting. In this full-time role, you will provide therapeutic massage treatments to help patients recover from injuries, reduce chronic pain, and improve overall wellness.

You’ll collaborate with physical therapists, chiropractors, and wellness professionals to deliver personalized, evidence-based care, helping clients achieve their health and relaxation goals.

Job Type: Full Time

Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM

Compensation: $70,000 to $90,000 a year

Patient Volume: 2 patients per hour schedule

Job Duties:

  • Perform therapeutic and rehabilitative massage treatments, including deep tissue, Swedish, sports, and trigger point therapy.
  • Assess client needs and create customized massage plans to address specific conditions and goals.
  • Utilize techniques to reduce muscle tension, enhance circulation, and promote recovery.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals (PTs, chiropractors) to develop coordinated care plans.
  • Educate clients on wellness practices, posture correction, and self-care techniques.
  • Maintain accurate treatment records and client notes.
  • Ensure a clean, safe, and relaxing environment for all clients.

Requirements:

  • Active Washington State Massage Therapy license (required).
  • Certification in therapeutic massage modalities, such as deep tissue, sports massage, or myofascial release (preferred).
  • 1-2 years of experience in a wellness, rehabilitation, or clinical setting preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and massage techniques.
  • Excellent communication and client interaction skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with healthcare professionals in a team setting.
  • Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and clinical documentation is a plus.
