Job Title: Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT)
Location: Leesburg,Virginia
Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
Schedule: Monday to Friday (9 AM – 5 PM)
Compensation: $60,000 to $70,000 + benefits

Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our therapy department. If you’re a compassionate clinician with a passion for geriatrics and rehab, we’d love to meet you.

As a PTA in our skilled nursing facility, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to implement individualized care plans, assist in restoring mobility and function, and promote residents' independence in daily life. Who are we looking for?

  • Active Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of Virginia
  • Graduate of an accredited PTA program (Associate’s degree required)
  • Current CPR/BLS certification
  • Strong clinical and communication skills
  • Compassion and patience when working with elderly and medically complex residents
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative rehab team
  • Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility, subacute rehab, or long-term care
  • Familiarity with EMR systems (e.g., NetHealth, Rehab Optima, or PointClickCare)
  • Understanding of Medicare documentation and reimbursement guidelines
  • Experience with fall prevention, post-surgical rehab, or chronic condition management

What you will do:

  • Carry out physical therapy treatment plans developed by the supervising PT
  • Provide therapeutic interventions, including gait training, balance, strength, and mobility exercises
  • Observe and report patient progress, response to treatment, and any concerns to the PT
  • Assist with accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record system (EMR)
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team including PTs, OTs, nurses, and physicians
  • Encourage and motivate residents during treatment to maximize outcomes
  • Ensure safety, dignity, and respect for all residents during therapy sessions
