Full-time Licensed Massage Therapist in Federal Way, Washington,

We have an opening for a skilled Licensed Massage Therapist who wants to practice in a clinical setting. Our clinic integrates Chiropractic, Acupuncture, and many modalities of massage/bodywork to help patients reach optimum health.

Job Type: Full Time

Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM

Compensation: $50-$60/hr

Patient Volume: 2 patients per hour schedule

Job Duties:

  • Greet customers in a friendly and courteous manner, provide great and professional customer service at all times
  • Create a soothing environment for our customers including maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitized work environment
  • Discuss the customer’s needs (pain relief, stress relief, etc.) and work with the physical therapy staff when appropriate to provide the massage necessary to best alleviate the customer’s issues
  • Always respect the customer’s privacy and comfort levels. Include checking in regularly with the customer throughout their massage to ensure comfort
  • Manage schedule on time and use proper time management to start and finish appointments on time
  • Document client’s condition, concerns, and progress in our charting system to maintain up-to-date records to promote interoffice communication and healthy integrated care between disciplines
  • Participate in team meetings and projects and contribute to a positive team spirit. Puts the success of the team above own interest and supports everyone’s efforts throughout the office to succeed
  • Assure creams and linens remain stocked between appointments. Assist team with laundry procedures and ordering supplies as necessary

Requirements:

  • An associate's Degree in Massage Therapy from an accredited institution is required, along with any necessary state licensure
  • Proven experience as a Massage Therapist, preferably in a med spa or clinical setting.
  • Strong knowledge of pain management techniques and occupational health principles.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on patient satisfaction
  • Familiarity with patient assessment processes and the ability to apply this knowledge effectively during treatments
