Full-time Licensed Massage Therapist in Lewisville, Texas

We have an opening for a skilled Licensed Massage Therapist who wants to practice in a clinical setting. Our clinic integrates Chiropractic, Physical Therapy, and many modalities of massage/bodywork to help patients reach optimum health.

Job Type: Full Time

Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM

Compensation: $70,000 to $90,000 a year

Patient Volume: 2 patients per hour schedule

Job Duties:

  • Evaluate clients to determine painful or stressed areas of the body
  • Create a soothing environment for our customers including maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitized work environment
  • Discuss the customer’s needs (pain relief, stress relief, etc.) and work with the physical therapy staff when appropriate to provide the massage necessary to best alleviate the customer’s issues
  • Manage schedule on time and use proper time management to start and finish appointments on time
  • Document client’s condition, concerns, and progress in our charting system to maintain up-to-date records to promote interoffice communication and healthy integrated care between disciplines
  • Participate in team meetings and projects and contribute to a positive team spirit.
  • Assure creams and linens remain stocked between appointments.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Massage Therapist, preferably in a med spa or clinical setting
  • Strong knowledge of pain management techniques and occupational health principles
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on patient satisfaction
  • Familiarity with patient assessment processes and the ability to apply this knowledge effectively during treatments
  • Certification in massage therapy from an accredited institution is required, along with any necessary state licensure
