Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) – Outpatient Clinic| Hayward, CA

Position: Licensed Massage Therapist
Work Setting: Outpatient
Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
Schedule: Monday to Friday (9 AM – 5 PM)
Compensation: $70,000 to $90,000 + benefits

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) to join our team and play a key role in helping patients manage pain, recover from injuries, and improve overall wellness. The LMT will provide hands-on therapy to patients, working alongside physical and occupational therapists to support rehabilitation and relaxation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform therapeutic massage techniques tailored to patients’ specific needs, including deep tissue, Swedish, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, and sports massage.
  • Assess patients’ muscle tension, posture, and movement patterns to determine the most effective treatment approach.
  • Work collaboratively with physical therapists, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Educate patients on self-care techniques, stretching routines, and relaxation strategies to maintain long-term wellness.
  • Maintain a clean, professional, and calming treatment environment for clients.
  • Keep accurate and up-to-date patient treatment records in compliance with clinic policies and state regulations.

Requirements:

  • Licensure: Active and valid Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) license in California.
  • Experience: Previous experience in an outpatient, clinical, or rehabilitation setting is preferred but not required.
  • Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and therapeutic massage techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
