Full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Needed in Magnolia Health Care

Our healthcare facility is committed to delivering exceptional care across a wide range of specialties. We provide comprehensive medical, surgical, rehabilitative, and long-term care services. As an LPN, you will work in different areas, including medical-surgical units, clinics, rehabilitation centers, and long-term care facilities.

Work Schedule:

The work schedule for LPNs is typically organized in shifts to ensure 24/7 patient care. Shifts may include:

  • Morning Shift: 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
  • Afternoon Shift: 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM
  • Night Shift: 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM

Full-time LPNs generally work five shifts per week, totaling 36 to 40 hours.

Part-time positions range from two to four shifts per week, totaling 20 to 30 hours.

Salary:

$60,000 and $80,000 per year

Responsibilities:

  • Providing direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses or physicians.
  • Administering medications and treatments as prescribed and documenting their effects.
  • Monitoring patient vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
  • Assisting with patient assessments, including gathering and recording patient information.
  • Collaborating with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Assisting with patient education, providing information on medications, procedures, and self-care.
  • Documenting patient observations, interactions, and care provided accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe patient environment, following infection control protocols.
  • Assisting with patient mobility and transfers, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
  • Providing emotional support and comfort to patients and their families.

Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program.
  • Current and active licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the desired state.
  • Compassion, empathy, and a genuine desire to provide exceptional care to patients.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, their families, and the healthcare team.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in basic medical procedures, medication administration, and documentation.
  • Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and upholding ethical standards.
