We’re Hiring: Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) | Hospital Setting | Hempstead , NY

Job Type: Full Time

Work Hours: Monday - Friday: 9 AM-5 PM

Compensation: $120,000.00 - $150,000 per year + benefits

As an LPN in our hospital, you’ll provide direct patient care under the supervision of RNs and physicians. From bedside monitoring to medication administration and patient education, your role is essential to maintaining high standards of safety, dignity, and healing.

Job Duties:

  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
  • Monitor and document patient conditions, reporting changes to RNs and doctors
  • Assist with wound care, specimen collection, and IV maintenance (as licensed)
  • Provide support with ADLs and mobility as needed
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with HIPAA and hospital standards
  • Educate patients and families on care plans and discharge instructions
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams for holistic treatment
  • Uphold infection control and safety protocols at all times

Qualifications:

  • Current and valid New York State Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • Current BLS/CPR certification (ACLS a plus)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-based and culturally diverse environment
  • Previous experience in hospital, long-term care, or clinical setting preferred
