Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Medical Center (Los Angeles, CA)
Job Type: Full Time
Work Hours: Monday - Friday: 9 AM-5 PM
Compensation: $120,000.00 - $150,000 per year + benefits
As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will provide direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses (RNs) and physicians. You will assist with patient assessments, monitor vital signs, administer medications, and assist in a variety of clinical tasks. This is a fast-paced and rewarding position where you will have the opportunity to make a direct impact on the health and well-being of our patients.
Job Duties:
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor and document patient conditions, reporting changes to RNs and doctors
- Assist with wound care, specimen collection, and IV maintenance (as licensed)
- Provide support with ADLs and mobility as needed
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with HIPAA and hospital standards
- Educate patients and families on care plans and discharge instructions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams for holistic treatment
- Uphold infection control and safety protocols at all times
Qualifications:
- Current and valid LPN license in the state of California.
- Completion of a practical nursing program accredited by the National League for Nursing (NLN).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an LPN in a healthcare setting preferred but not required.
- Current BLS/CPR certification (ACLS a plus)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-based and culturally diverse environment
- Previous experience in hospital, long-term care, or clinical setting preferred
