Job Setting:

As the Practice Administrator, you will be an integral part of our administrative team, working closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. You will oversee the smooth operation of our medical office, ensuring efficient workflows and optimal patient experiences.

Job Duties:

In this role, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Managing and supervising the day-to-day operations of the medical office, including staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Developing and implementing office policies and procedures in compliance with healthcare regulations and industry best practices.
  • Collaborating with clinical staff to optimize patient flow, reduce wait times, and enhance the overall patient experience.
  • Monitoring and maintaining inventory levels of medical supplies, equipment, and pharmaceuticals.
  • Coordinating and overseeing the billing and coding process, including insurance claims and patient billing.
  • Implementing and maintaining electronic health record (EHR) systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy in patient data management.
  • Conducting regular performance evaluations for office staff, providing constructive feedback and facilitating professional development opportunities.
  • Ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality.
  • Handling patient inquiries, complaints, and conflict resolution in a professional and empathetic manner.
  • Collaborating with other department managers to streamline cross-functional workflows and improve organizational efficiency.

Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • 5 years of experience in a medical office management or healthcare administration role preferred
  • In-depth knowledge of medical office operations, including billing, coding, EHR systems, and compliance regulations.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
  • Exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with staff, patients, and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in medical terminology and understanding of healthcare workflows.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing environments and manage competing priorities.

Salary:

$60,000-$80,000 per year, plus quarterly performance bonus
