We’re Hiring: Practice Manager | Hospital/Clinic Setting | Hempstead , NY

Job Type: Full Time

Work Hours: Monday - Friday: 9 AM-5 PM

Compensation: $75,000.00 - $100,000 per year + benefits

As our Practice Manager, you’ll be the strategic and operational lead for one or more outpatient clinics or hospital-based practices. Your primary responsibility? To ensure the smooth, efficient, and patient-centered functioning of the practice—from team leadership and resource management to compliance and process improvement.

Job Duties:

  • Lead daily practice operations, ensuring exceptional service delivery and workflow efficiency
  • Supervise front office, billing, scheduling, and clinical support staff
  • Partner with physicians, nurses, and executive leadership to meet patient care and business goals
  • Ensure full compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, JCAHO, and other healthcare regulations
  • Monitor KPIs and develop performance improvement plans as needed
  • Oversee budgets, payroll approvals, and supply/inventory tracking
  • Handle patient complaints or escalations with empathy and professionalism
  • Implement technology or process improvements to streamline services
  • Support recruitment, training, and retention of high-performing teams

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred)
  • Minimum 4+ years of healthcare management experience (hospital or outpatient setting ideal)
  • Strong understanding of medical billing, insurance workflows, EMR systems, and regulatory compliance
  • Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and team leadership skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead under pressure
  • Experience with performance metrics, budgeting, and staff development
