Job Title: Practice Administrator – Hospital-Affiliated Clinics (Atlanta, Georgia)

Job Type: Full Time

Work Hours: Monday - Friday: 9 AM-5 PM

Compensation: $75,000.00 - $100,000 per year + benefits

The Practice Administrator will lead multi-specialty physician practices with full accountability for financial performance, staffing, compliance, patient satisfaction, and operational efficiency. This individual will act as a strategic partner to providers and hospital executives while driving initiatives to ensure practices meet both clinical and business goals.

Job Duties:

  • Direct and oversee day-to-day operations for one or more hospital-affiliated medical practices (primary care and/or specialty care).
  • Partner with physician leaders to align clinical goals with business strategies.
  • Develop and manage practice budgets, monitor P&L performance, and drive revenue growth.
  • Implement workflow improvements and process enhancements to increase efficiency and patient access.
  • Ensure full regulatory compliance with healthcare standards including HIPAA, OSHA, CMS, and Joint Commission.
  • Supervise and mentor a team of practice managers, clinical staff, administrative coordinators, and billing personnel.
  • Drive initiatives around quality improvement, patient satisfaction, and provider performance.
  • Serve as liaison between practice teams and executive leadership, offering regular reporting and operational updates.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field required; Master’s degree (MHA, MBA) strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience in medical practice administration, preferably in a hospital or multi-site healthcare setting.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare operations, including revenue cycle management, insurance processing, and medical office workflows.
  • Previous experience managing a team, leading staff, and driving operational improvements.
  • Solid understanding of revenue cycle management, insurance workflows, and clinical support systems
  • Demonstrated success in leading multi-disciplinary teams and complex projects
  • Advanced knowledge of EMR/EHR platforms (Epic, Cerner, etc.)
  • Excellent communication, decision-making, and change management skills
  • Strong command of regulatory standards and healthcare compliance
