Job Title: Full-Time Practice Manager – Hospital-Affiliated Clinic (Phoenix , Arizona)

Job Type: Full Time

Work Hours: Monday - Friday: 9 AM-5 PM

Compensation: $75,000.00 - $100,000 per year + benefits

As a Practice Manager, you will lead and coordinate all aspects of clinic operations in collaboration with physicians, department heads, and hospital leadership. Your primary responsibilities will include overseeing the administrative, financial, and operational functions of the practice, managing staff performance, improving patient workflows, and ensuring a seamless experience for both patients and providers.

Job Duties:

  • Oversee daily operations of the medical practice or outpatient clinic, including scheduling, patient flow, and administrative support
  • Manage the front-office and clinical staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to improve patient care, optimize scheduling, and reduce wait times
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, OSHA, and hospital policies
  • Monitor and manage the practice’s budget, billing, and coding processes, ensuring accurate coding, billing, and insurance verification
  • Develop and implement practice-specific policies and procedures to ensure operational efficiency and patient safety
  • Drive quality improvement initiatives, patient satisfaction, and process enhancements across the practice
  • Manage patient communications, ensuring that patients receive timely responses to inquiries and concerns
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs), such as patient wait times, patient satisfaction scores, revenue cycle metrics, and staff performance
  • Serve as the liaison between the practice and hospital leadership, reporting on operational performance, challenges, and opportunities
  • Oversee inventory management, ensuring the practice is stocked with necessary medical supplies and equipment
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes teamwork, patient-centric care, and professional development

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Management, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience in healthcare management, with a strong background in managing medical practices or outpatient departments
  • Proven leadership skills with experience managing and motivating a team of diverse staff members
  • Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, patient care standards, and compliance requirements
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with medical providers, administrative staff, and patients
  • Familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems (Epic, Cerner, or other relevant systems)
  • Knowledge of financial management, billing and coding practices, and revenue cycle management
  • Ability to adapt to changing healthcare trends, technologies, and regulations
  • Experience in implementing and leading process improvements in a healthcare setting
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required
