Job Title: Full-Time Practice Administrator – Multi-Clinic Medical Group (Phoenix , Arizona )

Job Type: Full Time

Work Hours: Monday - Friday: 9 AM-5 PM

Compensation: $75,000.00 - $100,000 per year + benefits

The Practice Administrator will be responsible for overseeing all administrative, operational, and financial aspects of the medical practice or outpatient clinic. This includes managing a dedicated team of professionals, ensuring regulatory compliance, optimizing patient care delivery, and contributing to strategic planning and operational improvements.

As the leader of the practice, you’ll play a key role in aligning clinical and operational priorities, facilitating communication between departments, and ensuring the practice runs efficiently and meets the highest standards of care and service

Job Duties:

  • Direct all administrative, financial, and operational functions of assigned medical practices
  • Serve as a key liaison between clinic teams, providers, and hospital leadership
  • Develop and implement long-term strategic plans aligned with organizational goals
  • Lead practice expansion, integration, and process transformation initiatives
  • Ensure daily clinic operations run smoothly and efficiently across sites
  • Monitor scheduling, provider productivity, patient access, and operational KPIs
  • Oversee compliance with all healthcare regulations (Joint Commission, HIPAA, OSHA)
  • Ensure excellence in quality, safety, and patient satisfaction metrics
  • Develop and manage operating budgets for multiple sites
  • Oversee revenue cycle performance, including charge capture, coding, and AR management
  • Collaborate with finance, billing, and contracting teams to optimize reimbursement

Qualifications:

  • Leadership & Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the practice, managing staff and resources to ensure smooth workflows, high-quality patient care, and financial sustainability.
  • Team Management: Supervise, coach, and support administrative staff, including medical assistants, receptionists, and other team members. This includes hiring, training, scheduling, performance evaluations, and professional development.
  • Financial Oversight: Monitor and manage the practice’s budget, billing, coding, and insurance verification processes. Ensure accurate documentation, timely submissions, and follow-up to maximize reimbursement and minimize denials.
  • Operational Efficiency: Optimize patient scheduling, front-office operations, and resource utilization to improve workflow, reduce wait times, and enhance patient satisfaction.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that the practice complies with all healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, OSHA, and clinical care standards. Stay up-to-date on changes in laws and regulations and implement necessary changes to policies and procedures.
  • Patient Experience: Ensure that all patients receive exceptional service by addressing concerns, improving processes, and maintaining a patient-first approach to care.
  • Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development and execution of practice goals, strategic plans, and growth initiatives. Work with senior leadership to identify and implement opportunities for operational improvements.
  • Quality Improvement: Lead and participate in quality improvement initiatives, focusing on enhancing patient care, reducing operational inefficiencies, and increasing the overall effectiveness of the practice.
  • Collaboration: Foster strong communication and collaboration between physicians, clinical staff, and hospital administration. Participate in hospital-wide initiatives and contribute to system-wide improvement efforts.
