Full-Time/Part-Time Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Needed at our Clinic in Thornton, CO

Riverview Behavioral Center is a private practice who has immediate openings for Licensed Bilingual Spanish or Portuguese Speaking Therapists throughout the state, to provide therapeutic services for children with Developmental Disabilities and intellectual challenges. Join our clinic and help assist with a diverse cross-section of children with exceptional needs.

Schedule
Monday to Friday, Flexible Time

Minimum of 5-10 hours per week

Responsibilities:

• Provide individual in-home therapy sessions or group therapy sessions in our outpatient center.

• Provide anger management, coping, and social skills and reduce high-risk behaviors such as SIB or physical aggression.

• Work to improve youth and caretaker decision-making skills to manage in-home behavioral challenges.

• Collaborate effectively and consistently with the Child Family Treatment Team and/or professionals from other disciplines who also work to support the youth and family.

• Submit all required documentation within designated time frames (intake, treatment plan, progress notes), etc.

• Attend monthly meetings and submit recommendations.

Requirements:

• Must have a Master’s degree in Counseling, Family Therapy, or related fields

• Must have an active and unrestricted LMFT license in the state

• Must have experience providing positive behavior support.

• Must have prior experience working with children ages 3-20 and children with intellectual/developmental disabilities (I/DD) a plus.

• Must have a valid driver’s license and a registered vehicle.

• Must pass a criminal background check, inclusive of fingerprinting.

Salary:

$60,000 - $80,000 per year + Benefits
