Full Time/Part Time Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFT) Needed for Counseling Center in Chicago, IL

As a Marriage and Family Therapist, you will be in charge of delivering evidence-based therapies using a process that includes Engagement, Assessment, Planning, Implementation, and Evaluation. Your efforts will be critical in furthering our aim of providing accessible mental health treatment to all.

SCHEDULE:

  • Full-time or Part-time positions both available

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct in-depth evaluations of customers' mental and emotional well-being.
  • Evaluate clients' needs, concerns, and objectives in order to develop effective treatment programs.
  • Offer individual therapy sessions to individuals of all ages to address a variety of mental health issues.
  • Hold couples therapy sessions to assist couples in improving communication, resolving issues, and strengthening relationships.
  • Create tailored treatment programs based on evaluation results and in conjunction with clients.
  • Review and change treatment plans on a regular basis to reflect clients' progress and changing requirements.
  • Keep accurate and current client records, such as progress notes, treatment plans, and case histories.
  • Ensure that all customer contacts are documented in a timely and compliant manner.
  • As needed, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and other healthcare experts to offer clients with holistic treatment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field.
  • Active licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist through the State Board is required.
  • Experience with providing individual and/or couples therapy.
  • Experience working with children and/or adults.
  • Skills in timely completion of client assessments, progress notes, and treatment plans.
  • Proficient writing and communication skills and the ability to learn electronic health record systems.

SALARY:

From $90,000 to $105,000 per year
