Full time or part time Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Needed at Home and Community Mental Care, Inc.

We have immediate vacant positions around the state for Licensed Bilingual Spanish or Portuguese Speaking Therapists to provide intensive in-community therapy treatment to children with developmental disabilities and intellectual problems!

This is an excellent chance to work with a varied group of youngsters with special needs.

We offer Comprehensive Youth and Family Support Services to main caregivers of children and adolescents with Developmental and Intellectual Disabilities.

We have a SIGN ON BONUS.

Key Responsibilities:

-Individual in-home treatment sessions or group therapy sessions in our outpatient clinic are available.

-Reduce high-risk behaviors such as SIB or physical violence by teaching anger management, coping, and social skills.

-Improve youngster and caregiver decision-making abilities in order to address in-home behavioral difficulties.

-Collaborate effectively and consistently with the Child Family Treatment Team and/or other specialists who strive to help the youngster and family.

-Submit all relevant documents (intake, treatment plan, progress notes, etc.) within the time periods specified.

-Participate in regular meetings and provide recommendations.

Requirements:

  • Must have a Master’s degree in Counseling, Family Therapy, or related fields
  • Must have an active and unrestricted LMFT license
  • Must be available for a minimum of 5-10 hours per week during after-school hours of 4-7 pm. Weekend flexibility is a plus.
  • Must have experience providing positive behavior support.
  • Must have prior experience working with children ages 3-20 and children with intellectual/developmental disabilities (I/DD) a plus.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and a registered vehicle.
  • Must pass a criminal background check, inclusive of fingerprinting.

Compensation:

$80,000 - $100,000 per year
