Salary:

$70,000 - $105,000 + Bonus

Qualifications:


  • Master’s Degree from an approved graduate school or program in Counseling, Marriage and Family Studies,
  • Professional license with an active, unrestricted LMFT License
  • Have strong written, oral, and non-verbal language skills to comprehend and provide bilingual (Spanish and English) psychotherapy services
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a mental health setting working with children, adults, and families in a behavioral health setting
  • Is respectful and sensitive to each family’s cultural and individual needs and customs as appropriate
  • Able to work effectively with a range of clients and staff from diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds
  • Trained in one of the following CBT, TF-CBT, EMDR
  • Developed area of specialization (EX: Trauma, LBGTQ+, Grief & Loss, Perinatal Mental Health, etc.)
  • Must act in accordance with all Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) of 1996 and related state law confidentiality requirements
  • Must have [previously successfully completed a HIPAA training
  • Strong motivation to learn, particularly short-term individual and group therapy skills
  • Capacity for self-examination, self-disclosure, and ability to empathize are essential
  • Willingness to provide services as an in-network provider on at least one insurance panel
  • Able to effectively use EHR software, Microsoft Office, and other software programs
  • Ability to provide telehealth sessions in a HIPAA compliant environment and in-person sessions from the business office.
  • Valid Driver's License and car insurance
  • Be able and willing to work at least two (2) evenings per week and one (1) day per weekend
  • Regular and consistent attendance is an essential function of the job
  • Arriving at work on time and not leaving early is an essential function of the job
  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
  • Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus
  • DMH: 2 years (Required)
  • Psychotherapy: 2 years (Required)


Responsibilities:


  • Provide specialized, accessible, culturally sensitive, and trauma-informed (individual, group, conjoint, couples, and family) psychotherapy services (both short and long term) to eligible clients (individuals, couples, children/adolescents, and their families)
  • Adhere to all laws, regulations and code of ethics related to providing mental health services under professional license
  • As a mandated reporter of child, dependent adult, and elder abuse, consult as needed with appropriate authorities and make a verbal and written report of reasonable suspicion of abuse or immediate danger
  • Work independently, complete documentation (progress notes, psychosocial assessments, treatment plans) and collect payment for all services provided in a timely manner
  • Links clients with as needed higher level of care therapeutic and supportive clinical services as required
  • Maintain a minimum of at least 12 hours of client face-to-face sessions per week to 12 different clients, capacity for growth to 25 hours client sessions per week
  • Develop and facilitate at least one support group and/or workshop per quarter
  • Meet with Director on a bi-weekly basis for supervision/consultation and professional growth support
  • Participate in case planning and case disposition meetings with other professional staff, consulting psychiatrists, and consulting case managers/counselors as applicable
  • Participate in outreach, marketing, and business-related activities to further engage with and support the community
  • Be consistent and reliable in-service delivery and communication with clients, colleagues, and professional contacts outside of the company.
  • Strive to consistently deepen growth and capacity to provide counseling that is meaningful and impactful
  • Submits weekly schedule of client appointments via HER system, maintain accurate records of status of sessions and administrative hours worked, and submit a service rendered summary each week to receive payment once a month for clinical services
  • Completes all other duties as assigned by the Director
  • Maintain the care of the space when in the office
