FULL-TIME/PART-TIME LICENSED MARRIAGE AND FAMILY THERAPIST (LMFT) NEEDED

We are searching for a culturally congruent marriage and family therapist to consult on local cases. Salary: $80,000 to $90,000 yearly

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Observing and noting your thoughts on intra-familial functioning.
  • Elucidating clients' perceptions about disruptions within their structures.
  • Clarifying the existence of helpful environmental resources.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Completion of a master's or doctoral degreein Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
  • Possession of a valid and current LMFT license in the state of practice.
  • Licensing requirements vary by state but generally involve passing a state-recognized exam, completing supervised clinical hours, and meeting educational criteria.
  • Completion of one yearof supervised clinical hours, as required by state regulations, typically involving postgraduate supervised experience.
  • Proficiency in providing individual, couples, and family therapy using evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
  • Strong assessment and diagnostic skills to evaluate and address a variety of mental health and relationship issues.
  • Ability to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans tailored to the specific needs of clients.
