We are currently seeking a Full-time Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) at Our Community Center.

We are actively seeking a dedicated and highly knowledgeable Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join the ranks of one of our premier community centers. Licensed therapists are instrumental in providing support and treatment to individuals grappling with mood disorders, including conditions like depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. Your responsibilities will encompass conducting evaluations, devising personalized treatment plans, and implementing evidence-based interventions. Additionally, you will extend guidance and assistance to groups such as homeless individuals, refugees, or victims of domestic abuse. Join us in making a substantial and meaningful impact!

Work Schedule:

Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Responsibilities:

- Determine the intensity, frequency, and duration of clients' mood disorder symptoms.

- Work with clients to develop individualized treatment programs that meet their requirements, goals, and preferences.

- Use evidence-based treatments such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

- Educate and assist clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment alternatives, and self-care techniques.

- Monitor and track client progress, adjusting therapy programs as needed.

- Work with psychiatrists and other medical specialists to provide integrated treatment.

- Stay up to date on research and breakthroughs in mood disorder therapies in order to improve treatment tactics.

- Comply with legal and ethical norms by maintaining accurate and private paperwork.

- Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and chances for professional growth.

- Act as an advocate for clients by tackling mental health stigma and engaging with them.

Qualifications:

- A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.

- A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy is required.

- Through outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrates the capacity to develop a secure and trustworthy therapeutic connection with clients.

- Demonstrates empathy, compassion, and a nonjudgmental attitude toward the experiences and struggles of clients.

- Demonstrates great organizational and time management abilities in order to manage workloads and administrative activities successfully.

Compensation and Benefits:

- Salary ranges from $90,000 to $105,000 a year, depending on qualifications and experience.
