Full-time or Part-time Opportunities for Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Phoenix Psychotherapy Counseling Center.

We have urgent employment vacancies for Licensed Therapists who are bilingual in Spanish or Portuguese around the state. Children with developmental difficulties and intellectual issues will benefit from intense in-community therapy provided by these professionals.

This is a fantastic chance to work with a varied group of special needs youngsters. We specialize in providing Comprehensive Youth and Family Support Services to main caregivers of Developmental and Intellectual Disabilities children and adolescents.

Key Responsibilities:

- At our outpatient clinic, conduct individual in-home treatment sessions or group therapy sessions.

- Emphasize anger management, coping, and social skills in order to reduce high-risk behaviors such as Self-Injurious Behavior (SIB) or physical violence.

- Improve both the child's and caregiver's decision-making ability in dealing with behavioral issues at home.

- Establish regular and successful collaboration with the Child Family Treatment Team and other professionals devoted to aiding the child and family.

- Ensure that all required documentation, such as intake evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and so on, are submitted on time.

- Actively engage in frequent meetings and make useful ideas for client treatment and care.

Requirements:

- A Master's degree in Counseling, Family Therapy, or a similar subject is required.

- A valid, unrestricted LMFT license.

- Weekend flexibility is a plus, as is availability for a minimum of 5-10 hours per week during after-school hours from 4-7 pm.

- Prior experience with positive behavior support.

- Prior experience working with children ages 3-20 is preferred, as is experience working with children with intellectual/developmental impairments (I/DD).

- A valid driver's license and a registered car are required.

- Completion of a thorough criminal background check, including fingerprints.

Compensation:

$90,000 - $105,000 per year
