As a Marriage and Family Therapist, you will ensure the delivery of evidence-based practices, applying the techniques of Engagement, Assessment, Planning, Implementation, and Evaluation.
SCHEDULE:
- Full-time or Part-time positions both available
- Make your own hours for ultimate flexibility

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental and emotional well-being.
- Evaluate clients' needs, issues, and goals to formulate appropriate treatment plans.
- Provide individual therapy sessions to clients of all ages, addressing a wide range of mental health concerns.
- Conduct couples therapy sessions to help couples improve communication, resolve conflicts, and strengthen relationships.
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on clients' assessment results and in consultation with clients themselves.
- Regularly review and adjust treatment plans as necessary to reflect clients' progress and changing needs.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, including progress notes, treatment plans, and case histories.
- Ensure timely and compliant documentation of all client interactions.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and other healthcare professionals as needed to provide holistic care to clients.
- Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and relevant stakeholders to ensure coordinated care.
- Be prepared to provide crisis intervention and support to clients in acute distress or during emergencies.
- Stay current with the latest research, techniques, and best practices in the field of marriage and family therapy.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
- Adhere to the highest ethical standards and maintain strict confidentiality regarding client information.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and ethical guidelines governing therapy practice.
- Advocate for clients' rights and well-being, empowering them to make informed decisions about their treatment.
- Provide resources and support to help clients access additional services when needed.
- Prioritize self-care and personal well-being to maintain emotional resilience and avoid burnout.
- Encourage clients to engage in self-care practices and wellness activities.
- Demonstrate proficiency in delivering therapy services through remote platforms.
- Ensure a secure and confidential virtual therapy environment for clients.
- Represent the counseling center professionally in all interactions and adhere to its mission and values.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field.
- Active licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist through the State Board is required.
- Experience with providing individual and/or couples therapy.
- Experience working with children and/or adults.
- Skills in timely completion of client assessments, progress notes, and treatment plans.
- Proficient writing and communication skills and the ability to learn electronic health record systems.
SALARY:
From $90,000 to $105,000 per year
