FULL-TIME/PART-TIME LICENSED MARRIAGE AND FAMILY THERAPIST WANTED - REMOTELY

We are seeking a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) who is passionate about helping individuals, couples, and families navigate their unique challenges and improve their relationships through remote therapy services.

As a Remote Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will have the opportunity to support clients from various backgrounds and locations in enhancing their relational and emotional well-being. Your expertise in family systems therapy and remote counseling will be instrumental in providing effective care.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct secure and confidential remote therapy sessions with individuals, couples, and families using telehealth technology.
  • Perform comprehensive assessments to understand clients' relational dynamics, mental health concerns, and family contexts. Develop individualized treatment plans and measurable goals.
  • Utilize family systems theory and systemic interventions to address relationship dynamics, communication issues, and family stressors.
  • Provide immediate support and crisis intervention as needed to ensure client and family safety.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential electronic client records, progress notes, and treatment plans in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Educate clients on effective communication, conflict resolution, and coping strategies to improve their relationships.
  • Collaborate with a virtual team of therapists and mental health professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
  • Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in marriage and family therapy, engaging in ongoing professional development.

Qualifications:

  • Current licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state/province/country where you practice.
  • Master's degree or higher in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
  • Atleast two or three years minimum experience in the same related field.
  • Experience providing remote therapy services is preferred but not required.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for remote interactions.
  • Commitment to ethical and confidential therapeutic practices.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote setting.
  • Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate clients in various time zones.
