Wanted Full-time/Part-time Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist

A licensed marriage and family therapist provides support and guidance to couples and families experiencing a variety of emotional and mental health issues. They help clients develop healthy communication and coping skills, and work with clients to identify and resolve conflicts.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct individual, couples, and family therapy sessions
  • Develop treatment plans based on clients' goals
  • Assess clients' emotional and mental health needs
  • Provide crisis intervention as needed
  • Maintain confidential client records
  • Collaborate with other professionals, such as social workers or psychiatrists
  • Stay up-to-date with licensure requirements and continuing education

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in marriage and family therapy or related field
  • Licensure as a marriage and family therapist
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work with couples and families from diverse backgrounds
  • Experience providing individual, couples, and family therapy
  • Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic techniques
