LICENSED MARRIAGE AND FAMILY THERAPIST (LMFT) FULL-TIME POSITION AVAILABLE

Our company is a respected mental health and counseling center committed to providing comprehensive, compassionate, and evidence-based care to individuals, couples, and families. We are currently seeking a dedicated Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist to join our outpatient services team and support our clients in their journey towards improved mental and emotional well-being.

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in our outpatient services, you will play a vital role in helping individuals and families address relational, emotional, and psychological challenges. Your expertise in family dynamics, communication, and individual well-being will contribute to the overall success of our clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual, couples, and family therapy services to clients seeking outpatient care.
  • Conduct thorough assessments to understand clients' relational and mental health needs, develop personalized treatment plans, and set achievable goals.
  • Utilize your expertise in family systems theory to address relationship dynamics, communication issues, and family stressors.
  • Offer immediate support and intervention in crisis situations, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients and their families.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records, progress notes, and treatment plans in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Educate clients on relationship-building skills, effective communication, and coping strategies to enhance their overall well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with other therapists, clinicians, and medical professionals to ensure holistic care for clients.
  • Stay updated on the latest developments in the field of marriage and family therapy through ongoing training and education.

Qualifications:

  • Current licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state where you practice.
  • Master's degree or higher in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
  • Minimum of one year experience as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.
  • Prior experience in outpatient therapy services is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Commitment to ethical and confidential counseling practices.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Flexibility in working hours to accommodate client scheduling needs.
