FULL-TIME/PART-TIME LICENSED MARRIAGE AND FAMILY THERAPIST WANTED - REMOTELY
Our company is a progressive mental health and counseling service provider dedicated to making therapy accessible to all. We are seeking a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) who is passionate about helping individuals, couples, and families navigate their unique challenges and improve their relationships through remote therapy services.
As a Remote Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will have the opportunity to support clients from various backgrounds and locations in enhancing their relational and emotional well-being. Your expertise in family systems therapy and remote counseling will be instrumental in providing effective care.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct secure and confidential remote therapy sessions with individuals, couples, and families using telehealth technology.
- Perform comprehensive assessments to understand clients' relational dynamics, mental health concerns, and family contexts. Develop individualized treatment plans and measurable goals.
- Utilize family systems theory and systemic interventions to address relationship dynamics, communication issues, and family stressors.
- Provide immediate support and crisis intervention as needed to ensure client and family safety.
- Maintain accurate and confidential electronic client records, progress notes, and treatment plans in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Educate clients on effective communication, conflict resolution, and coping strategies to improve their relationships.
- Collaborate with a virtual team of therapists and mental health professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
- Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in marriage and family therapy, engaging in ongoing professional development.
Qualifications:
- Current licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state/province/country where you practice.
- Master's degree or higher in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
- At least two or three years minimum experience in the same related field.
- Experience providing remote therapy services is preferred but not required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for remote interactions.
- Commitment to ethical and confidential therapeutic practices.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote setting.
- Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate clients in various time zones.
