FULL-TIME LICENSED MARRIAGE AND FAMILY THERAPIST (LMFT) POSITION AVAILABLE
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFTs) help married couples and families work through various emotional issues and crisis, such as divorce, mental disorder and death of a family member.
They use various techniques to help family members identify the feelings behind various harmful behaviors and develop ways to change these behaviors. Many therapists have private practices or work for medical establishments and organizations.
- Observing and noting your thoughts on intra-familial functioning.
- Elucidating clients' perceptions about disruptions within their structures.
- Clarifying the existence of helpful environmental resources.
- Uncovering latent determinants of dysfunction and then ameliorating such issues.
- Assisting clients with their processing of grief and other variations of negative effect.
- Advising on stabilizing home and schooling provisions.
- Formulating reports for admission as reliable expert evidence.
- Providing balanced expert testimonies once called upon.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Master’s degree in family therapy or a closely related field
- LMFT licensein the state
- Atleast minimum of four years related working experience
- Certification in one or more treatment modalities
- Clinical experience (at least one year of post-licensure experience preferred)
- Bilingual communication skills a plus
Pay and Benefits:
- $95,000 to $110,000 per year
