FULL-TIME LICENSED MARRIAGE AND FAMILY THERAPIST (LMFT) POSITION AVAILABLE

A reputable rehabilitation center dedicated to providing comprehensive care to individuals recovering from various physical and mental health challenges. We are looking for a compassionate and licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our multidisciplinary team and contribute to the holistic healing of our clients.

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist working in our rehabilitation clinic, you will play a critical role in helping clients and their families navigate the emotional and relational aspects of recovery. You will provide therapeutic support to individuals and their loved ones as they embark on their journey to rehabilitation and wellness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct individual, couples, and family therapy sessions to address the emotional and relational challenges clients face during rehabilitation.
  • Perform comprehensive assessments to understand clients' relational dynamics, emotional struggles, and recovery goals. Develop personalized treatment plans that integrate both mental health and rehabilitation objectives.
  • Utilize family systems theory and therapeutic techniques to facilitate effective communication, conflict resolution, and coping strategies among clients and their families.
  • Work collaboratively with physical therapists, occupational therapists, physicians, and other professionals to provide holistic care and ensure alignment of therapeutic goals.
  • Provide immediate support and crisis intervention when needed, particularly during challenging phases of rehabilitation.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records, progress notes, and treatment plans in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Educate clients and their families about the emotional aspects of rehabilitation, coping mechanisms, and strategies for strengthening family bonds.
  • Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in marriage and family therapy and rehabilitation, participating in ongoing professional development.

Qualifications:

  • Current licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state where you practice.
  • Master's degree or higher in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
  • Experience working in a rehabilitation setting or with individuals in recovery is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Dedication to ethical and confidential therapeutic practices.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Pay and Benefits:
