Are you a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) seeking a rewarding opportunity to counsel individuals, couples, and families? Our medical facility in California is currently looking for a dedicated professional to join our team. As a crucial member of our mental health team, you will play a pivotal role in diagnosing and treating patients, leading counseling sessions, and contributing to the overall well-being of our clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish positive, trusting rapport with patients
  • Diagnose and treat mental health disorders
  • Create individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and circumstances
  • Regularly meet with patients to provide counseling, treatment, and adjust plans as necessary
  • Conduct ongoing assessments of patient progress
  • Lead sessions with individuals and groups
  • Refer clients to specialists as needed

Requirements:

  • Valid license as LMFT
  • Master's or doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field
  • Specialized training or experience in addiction counseling
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practices for substance abuse and co-occurring disorders
  • Strong therapeutic and counseling skills with the ability to motivate clients
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Compensation: $90,000 to $110,000 per year
