Are you a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) looking for a fulfilling opportunity to provide counseling to individuals, couples, and families? Our California-based medical facility is actively seeking a committed professional to join our team. As a key member of our mental health team, you'll be instrumental in diagnosing and treating patients, leading counseling sessions, and enhancing the overall well-being of our clients.
Duties:
- Build positive and trusting relationships with patients.
- Diagnose and address mental health disorders.
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on individual needs.
- Conduct regular meetings with patients for counseling, treatment, and plan adjustments.
- Perform ongoing assessments of patient progress Facilitate sessions for individuals and groups.
- Make referrals to specialists as required
Requirements:
- Current LMFT license
- Master's or doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
- Specialized training or experience in addiction counseling.
- Familiarity with evidence-based practices for substance abuse and co-occurring disorder.
- Effective therapeutic and counseling skills with the ability to inspire clients.
- Outstanding communication and teamwork capabilities.
Compensation: $90,000 to $110,000 per year
