Full-time/Part-time Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Needed at Behavioral Brightside Mental Clinic.

We are currently seeking a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to become a valuable member of our team, providing counseling services to individuals, couples, and families at our medical facility.

In this role, your duties will involve diagnosing and treating patients, facilitating sessions with individuals and couples, and making referrals to specialists when necessary.

Your primary objective will be to work directly with patients, offering counseling support for the treatment of various mental health disorders, ultimately assisting them in achieving a healthier lifestyle.


Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain positive, trusting relationships with patients.
  • Diagnose and effectively treat a spectrum of mental health disorders.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on the unique needs and circumstances of each patient.
  • Conduct regular meetings with patients to deliver counseling, treatment, and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
  • Perform ongoing assessments to evaluate and monitor patient progress.
  • Lead counseling sessions for both individuals and groups, tailoring the approach to meet specific therapeutic needs.
  • Refer patients to specialists when required, ensuring comprehensive care.
  • Collaborate directly with patients to guide and support them in addressing various mental health disorders, fostering a pathway to a healthier lifestyle.

Requirements

  • Valid license as LMFT
  • Master's or doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy
  • Specialized training or experience in addiction counseling
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practices for substance abuse and co-occurring disorders
  • Strong therapeutic and counseling skills with the ability to motivate clients
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Salary:
$80k-100k per year
