Part-time Part-time Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) needed

Offering counseling, case management, direct clinical services, community and home-based services, behavioral and human services, and other services, mental health counselors work with individuals with mental illnesses, developmentally disabled, and/or emotionally disturbed clients in outpatient, residential, community, or similar settings.

Part-time positions available.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with social and medical agencies, healthcare providers and community outreach programs to provide patients with needed services.
  • Complete continuing education courses to maintain National Certified Counselor certification and stay up-to-date on the latest practices.
  • Provide initial assessments, check-ins, and offer appropriate referrals.
  • Supporting patients through assessments of their current mental state.
  • Identify areas of concern and develop a plan of therapeutic treatment.
  • Collaborate when necessary for best patient care and experience.
  • Perform initial evaluations of patient needs and develop customized treatment plans.
  • Educate staff and patients on stress and trauma coping mechanisms.
  • Provide individuals with the resources they need to reach personal goals.
  • Monitor patient progress and modify their treatment plans as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • Salesforce and EMR experience is a huge plus
  • Current State License
  • Must reside in the State of Practice
  • Highly proficient in technology and EHR systems
  • Excellent verbal / written communication skills – timely notes and documentation

Education:

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology or Other Related Mental Health discipline

Licenses Required:

  • Must be independently licensed as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
