Job Description:

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with us, you'll deliver critical diagnostic assessments and tailored treatments to those facing mental and emotional challenges. Your role will be integral in counseling individuals and groups, focusing on prevention and addressing a wide array of mental health issues. You'll engage in essential functions like intake assessments, service planning, and crisis interventions, extending your impact by providing continuous therapy to individuals, families, groups, and couples.

Salary: $120,000 to $130,000

Job Type: Full-time, Remote

Responsibilities:

  • Provide weekly evidence-based care through synchronous live video sessions to adults with a wide range of emotional disorders
  • Assists in screening and coordinating integrated services for patients.
  • Conduct remote therapy sessions with clients using video conferencing software.
  • Provides clinically appropriate psychotherapy services in accordance with applicable ethical code(s), rules, and regulations.
  • Continuously evaluates the effectiveness of treatment through ongoing assessments of the patient and their natural supports, which may result in modifying the service plan as necessary.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • A Master’s Degree in Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT)
  • Active license issued by the State of California (LMFT)
  • 3 years of experience as a Marriage and Family Therapist.
  • Must be comfortable using computers and video-conferencing software; previous telemedicine experience is a plus
  • Exceptional teamwork, communication, and multitasking skills, thriving in both independent and collaborative settings.
  • Knowledge of principles, methods, and procedures for diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of physical and mental dysfunctions, and for career counseling and guidance.
