Job Description
Full-time Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
You will be responsible for providing patient care, intervening in crisis, and applying different therapeutic approaches. The ideal applicant will have expertise working with children and families, treating addiction, chronic pain, depression, anxiety, and other related disorders, as well as counseling about gender issues.
Flexible, Full-time positions available.
Responsibilities:
- Providing temperament counseling for parents
- Conducting developmental evaluations of children
- Holding caseload of individual therapy and collateral therapy
- Planning and delivering trainings sessions for clients, social workers, attorneys, judges, educators, and other mental health care professionals
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Knowledge in parent-child intervention with high-risk children
- Knowledge of normal child development, parenting, and child abuse/neglect
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology and issues regarding prenatal substance abuse and its impact on the child
Education:
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology or Other Related Mental Health discipline
Licenses Required:
- Appropriate and Active CA License in Marriage Family Therapy
Pay and Benefits:
- Salary range of $120,000 to $130,000per year, based on caseload.
