Full-time Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)

Providing patient care, intervening in crisis, and applying different therapeutic approaches will all be part of your job. Counseling for gender issues, addiction, chronic pain, child and family troubles, depression, anxiety, and other related disorders would be among the specialties of the ideal candidate.

Flexible, Full-time positions available.

Responsibilities:

  • Consultation to interdisciplinary team members
  • Providing age appropriate assessments and interventions
  • Leading parent support groups and providing supportive therapeutic environments with special attention to issues of placement and adoption with prenatally substance exposed children
  • Providing temperament counseling for parents
  • Conducting developmental evaluations of children

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Experience with the Department of Mental Health billing and paperwork requirements (preferred)
  • Experience providing evidence-based practices to children and families
  • Knowledge of basic medical terminology and issues regarding prenatal substance abuse and its impact on the child

Education:

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology or Other Related Mental Health discipline

Licenses Required:

  • Appropriate and Active CA License in Marriage Family Therapy

Pay and Benefits:

  • Salary range of $120,000 to $130,000per year, based on caseload.
