Full-time Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)

Treatment planning, crisis intervention, and applying different therapeutic approaches will all be part of your job. In addition to counseling for addiction, chronic pain, depression, anxiety, and other related diseases, the ideal applicant will also have expertise counseling gender difficulties and child families.

Flexible, Full-time positions available.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing training and mentoring on mental health issues of this population to professionals and parents in the community
  • Consultation to interdisciplinary team members
  • Providing age appropriate assessments and interventions
  • Leading parent support groups and providing supportive therapeutic environments with special attention to issues of placement and adoption with prenatally substance exposed children

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Experience with mental health treatment and intervention techniques for children (ages 0-21) and their parents
  • Knowledge in parent-child intervention with high-risk children
  • Knowledge of normal child development, parenting, and child abuse/neglect

Education:

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology or Other Related Mental Health discipline

Licenses Required:

  • Appropriate and Active CA License in Marriage Family Therapy

Pay and Benefits:

  • Salary range of $120,000 to $130,000per year, based on caseload.
